Contemplating a New Direction

Good Morning and a Happy Thursday everyone!  I hope your week has been a really good one so far! Mine has had ups and downs, as every week will, including a persistent headache at the start of the week, which has thankfully gone away.  Beyond that, I’ve had this blog on my mind.

When I started it, it was to show myself that I could be consistent in posting something every single day, which for the most part I have for about five years.  It was a lesson in carrying through on something I had started.  I have this ridiculous tendency to get excited about something, dive in head first, then drop it. Some things need to be dropped – if they get too expensive, will cause too much stress, will be negatively affected by something going on my life, etc. But others, simple things, should be finished.  Heck, I found a cross stitch project I started about 23 years ago that I did about 1/50th of it! And I bought one for my granddaughter’s birth announcement and it’s been nearly 5 years since I’ve even touched it.  Honestly, I couldn’t even tell you where it is right now.  Anyway, that is why I started this project, and it has had rewarding moments, and it’s been fun, but I’m to the point that I am bored with it, and I bet many of you are too.  I want to keep blogging, and celebrating every day, but maybe not in the same way, and maybe I can celebrate every day, but only tell about it a couple of times a week!  I don’t know, I haven’t made up my mind yet.

My point is this, I am doing some thinking, some planning and putting some thought into where I want to take things.  I know that I really enjoy the food celebrations – after all, we ALL have to eat, right?  And I enjoy sharing things I do with you, so I may do the summer Farmer’s Market series I’ve been contemplating.  I have invited my daughter to do some guest blogging about some of the adventures with Baby R. She’s an amazing writer and I think you’d all get a kick out of her.  We are planning some adventures in our RV, so maybe I’ll share those with you.  Whatever it is I decide to share with you, it will be about fun, sometimes about bittersweet moments, but always about life and how it looks wherever I happen to be.

I may be a couple of days, but I will be checking in with something soon.  In the meantime, keep your coffee cup full, always be kind to each other, and every single day, please, find something to celebrate, no matter how small.

God bless you and I’ll see you soon.
